Compact exposed timber, rooms, this chalet is tucked away down one of the narrow laneways in a quiet, gardened area near the church. Each room offers calming views—mountains, sky, and other six-story wooden chalets with brightly coloured gardens. The atmosphere is peaceful, almost like a Japanese onsen retreat, where there's an unspoken understanding to remove shoes and speak softly out of respect for other guests. When everyone follows this, it truly becomes a wonderful place to stay.

As we were travelling on the Glacier Express the following day, the room was excellent for us. The room was comfortable and the location to the rail station is very good, only a short walk.
