Good location. Great staff - friendly and helpful. No need of alarm clock - you will be awaken by the fish market at 06.00am sharp.

Malindi guest House feels like a walk into the past .. Located in the Malindi neighbourhood of Stone Town , you find yourself located in a very lively and traditional way of life. The fish harbour and market is a stone throw away as is the old Jahazi sailboat port. Good street food is easily accessible and it is a great place to meet local folk , to sit and observe . The terrace provides a cool breeze with sounds drifting up from the streets .. old black and white photos of zanzibar adorns the wall , each one telling a rich story. Besides that the owner has a green streak . Much greenery and up-cycled furniture which makes Malindi House very unique in Zanzibar .

Staff very kind and helpful, position very good (close to the port and to the wonderful fish market, to breathe the real life of this island), interior design curious and the superbe terrace on the top.

The location has easy access to beachfront and Forodhani and other Stone Town attractions Nice quirky touches and an eclectic mix of photo prints all over the hotel Good value for money and reasonable breakfast Best part was easy check in and great service from Eddy at reception Highly recommend this place
