The area is peaceful and well-served by numerous grocery stores. It was a lovely gesture from the host to leave a bottle of wine and chocolates, and she also provided plenty of helpful recommendations for local attractions.

Dora was so helpful with lots of information for check in. I met Dora's lovely husband upon check in and he answered any questions I had. This was the perfect apartment for my Feb stay in Zagreb, it is bright, cosy, warm, safe and very quiet. Very comfortable bed, great shower, everthing you need for a short or longer time stay. Tram 17 and 14 are a short walk, so is tram 12.....ZET is a great app for the trams. Lovely bakery nearby, as is a veg and meat market. If I get to come back to Zagreb I would love to stay in Dora's apartment again
