A large, comfortable house that was perfect for our needs for one night in town. It's in a standard, residential area but the Sainbury's on the corner was useful and there was a nice cafe too.

I highly recommend this Airbnb. The location is great—just a 25-minute walk from the city center, and considering how beautiful the city is, the walk is definitely worth it. We were a group of five, and everything was very clean. The place was well-equipped with coffee, water, and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hot water, and a working central heater (which is a big plus for me, especially after some bad experiences with other Airbnbs where the heating didn’t work and we were cold, unable to shower because there was no hot water). Lovely house overall - bedrooms were a great size, all 3 had double beds in and plenty of space for luggage etc. Location was good, a Sainsbury’s local on the corner and a 6 min Uber to the centre of York. Would probably be in walking distance but we didn’t walk due to the weather. Clean throughout, bedding and towels clean and fresh. Essentials like tea / coffee / toilet rolls provided. Hosts checked in with us mid-stay which was appreciated. Check in / out info came through in plenty of time with clear instructions.
