It was a charming period cottage with lovely furniture and finishes. Great location. Close to everything in all directions. Large comfy bed. Good, well equipped kitchen. Nice outdoor courtyard. Double glass windows to keep the street noise down.

The property was in a great location for the train station and for getting to all the attractions of York on foot. The area felt safe and was very quiet. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever! The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was spacious, warm and comfortable. We didn't use the outside area, but imagine in the Summer time it would be lovely.

Fantastic. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need and beautiful bathroom and bedroom. The partly covered outdoor space was ideal for cover from the rain. A lovely touch of a bottle of wine to welcome us and good communication. Loved it and hope to book again. Only 1 thing, tv only had 7 channels tuned in, but prime worked and it didn’t bother us (sure if we had mentioned it, would have been sorted).
