Very good breakfast with plenty of choice, all prepared well and served with friendliness and an anything we can do to help? manner. The room was serviced daily and fresh towels supplied when needed. Everything we saw and experienced spoke of a great level of service, care and attention you would wish to get in every guest house.

Everything about the breakfast was superb. Must mention the little scissors in with the sauce sachets - such a thoughtful addition. Caroline was so friendly and hospitable. Abby was a lovely polite young lady. The bathroom was very good. Thank you for the fan it was much appreciated.

St Mary's guest house was the perfect location for us, not too far to walk into the City. We were met by Caroline, (Queen Bee) who made us feel very welcome. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was a great choice on the menu for breakfast, and everything was freshly cooked and delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Caroline and Abbie, thank you Ladies for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend St Mary's, and would not hesitate to stay there again next time we are in York.
