Please note that there are two check-in periods at Midway House.Guests can check in between 11:00 - 13:00 and 16:00 - 19:00.Saturday check in is between 10.00 and 13.00 and then 17.00 to 19.00.Later check- ins are offered via key safe by prior arrangement.Please note, food is not permitted in rooms.Please note that the guest dining room is currently closed due to the social distancing guidelines. Breakfast will be delivered to guest rooms only.No group bookings of more than 3 rooms unless by prior arrangement.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The breakfast on the last day was really good. The guest house is in Fulford, but there is a regular bus service.

Great value for money. I walked into York in 20 - 30 minutes. The host offered some suggestions of places for food. The check-out was really easy. The bed was comfy and there were a lot of toiletries available.

We just wanted a place to sleep and shower as we were out all day sightseeing. So we were quite content with midway.

Our host Paul was lovely and the English breakfast was very nice. The house is well-situated and within a brisk, 20m walk of York. Parking on the premises.
