The house is exceptional, the beds are comfortable and there's so much space for everybody. The garden is huge and made a great space for us. The photos don't do this place justice, it really is lovely. We were a group of 8 men and not once felt like there wasn't enough room and the house served us perfectly.

LOVED the property from the second we pulled up outside. Beautiful, spacious rooms and very sociable spaces to relax in the lounge and kitchen. Amazing outdoor space too. Loved the little touches - sleep eye masks were left in the bedrooms with skylights, so we weren’t disturbed by the early morning light.

Excellent house. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. Helped by a sunny day but we had an bbq in the evening sun surrounded by a lovely garden, with space and some toys provided for the kids to play with. Nice big lounge for communal space. Less than 15 minutes to drive into the centre of York, and about 20 minutes to Castle Howard.

The location was exceptional, the house was beautiful very spacious, clean and cosy. Secluded in our own private garden and outdoor seating area. Perfect for a weekend away, would definitely stay longer next time. I would highly recommend this house, the host was very helpful throughout the stay xx
