Staff were very helpful. Private beach. The ocean view that we had from our room was so serene. Getting to Yomitan town is not far by taxi and we found some great local restaurants with Okinawan food, some of the best food we've had during our travels in Japan. If you want a slightly more remote place this place is great. Some of the reviews nearly put us off like you need a car to get around, there is no bar but taxis weren't pricey to get to the town and there is a pool and beach bar open from 11am till 9pm so pretty sure one can get their fill of alcohol if needed! And if you need more, the family mart etc is not far away by taxis. Loved this hotel.

We really liked the design of the hotel. Yes, it's not the newest, but it's incredibly charming and mostly well-maintained. There are various stores on the property for the necessities and souvenir shopping. The official beach and adjoining beaches are wonderful. The staff is very friendly. The amenities provided are amazing. The spa-treatment was incredible. Live music in the evening was magical. I also joined the morning-yoga classes, which were led in Japanese but relatively easy to follow regardless. We most enjoyed the food in the lounge. The view from our room was out of this world, glorious sunset views every single night (when we weren't enjoying them from the ocean). We were in walking distance to a few delicious restaurants in both directions. The rental e-bikes were really fun to use. We appreciated getting drinking water every day and a tropical fruit platter as a welcome - YUM! Check-in and check-out was very efficient and staff even called us a cab. In regards to mobility: I think it's ok to stay here even without a rental car if you're happy enjoying the nearby beaches and restaurants and don't mind walking to the public bus or using a taxi every once in a while.
