Carol “Quiet location with view of Li River and karst peaks”

Outstanding small hotel on the banks of the Li River. We especially liked the quiet location. Our room had a panoramic view of the river and karst peaks. We are grateful for our (English-speaking) hosts Flora and Ula who arranged activities for us and made sure we were able to get transportation and tickets. Thank you Flora and Ula! We loved our afternoon of biking along the Yu Long River with our guide Annie - such a memorable experience - thank you, Annie! I enjoyed late afternoon swimming in the hotel's pool - with a spectacular view of karst peaks. The bed was comfortable; the towels were white, clean, and fresh. The food in the restaurant was very good; the price was reasonable and there was a lot of variety in dishes. We ate both breakfast and dinner in the quiet and cool lounge area.

We loved the hotel, small and very comfortable and relaxed, in a quiet location overlooking the river and away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still possible to walk into town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with excellent English, helping to arrange trips etc.

The room was big and really pretty, bed was very comfortable and the view was just beautiful, right in front of the Li River and a karst. We sat in the balcony to enjoy the view and take photos, at various times of day and night, and wished we did not have to leave. The infinity pool was a big plus, for a end of day relaxing plunge or early morning swim. Very well set and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Breakfast was excellent. The location is very peaceful, which for us was a real bonus, since Yangshuo is very busy everywhere. Here all you hear are birds and the occasional boat passing by.

The staff were extremely friendly and assisted with everything we wanted. Their English was good enough to arrange everything without frustration or misunderstanding. The property itself is lovely, the pool was fantastic for cooling down after a hot day, and the short distance from town makes for a very peaceful and relaxing environment. The food was also delicious.
