Zaur is a nice guy and his family is really sweet. I spoke Azerbaijani with him but he speaks English too (little though). Since I was Vegetarian, his wife made Azerbaijani veg food for me. Zaur picked us up from the river when our taxi driver had left us there demanding more money to go forward. I called Zaur and he came down with his car and picked us up. Reaching Xinaliq is very expensive but the best option is to ask Zaur - it’s still expensive but the Taxis in Quba will give u trouble and ask for even more.

Zaur and his Family were so welcoming. It was lovely to be able to have a meal with the family in the evenings. Food was amazing 👏

Zaur and his wife are a great hosts. We stayed at his house in one of the rooms. We had a nice dinner with them.
