Great location. Very good breakfast and nice staff. Nice terrasse by the river. We had one room up and down and up and down stairs and no elevator, but room quality good. The other, heritage room had interesting very love beams, but excellent bathrooms on both.

On the hottest weekend of the year an air conditioned hotel including bedroom was amazing. Staff, despite being very busy with functions, were excellent, very polite, made eye contact and always helpful. As well as bar /restaurant staff the hotel reception was very helpful. In addition the domestic staff were continuously and almost imperceptibly clearing up after each event to ensure the hotel was in peak condition for all its guests. We had a great weekend and will definitely come back.
