We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very well equipped, brilliantly located next to the Windermere train station and an excellent large Booths supermarket but also right next to great pubs and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and we loved little touches like the torch light for walks, warm blankets to use on colder days, feeding and drinking bowl for a dog and enough cleaning products for a short stay. It felt comfy and cosy and welcoming. We also had to call the support because I was a bit foolish and could not lock the door and they responded and sent someone immediately. We were meant to leave in the afternoon and the checkout was morning but local Tourist office which is only 2 min away lets you use their leave luggage facilities. The bus stop for Ambleside, Grasmere, etc is also next to the train station- all within 3 min walk.

Cosy, comfortable beds, close to town , pub across road. Parking permit. Backyard for dog.

Myrtle cottage was clean and pretty. We wanted for nothing. We were right in the heart of Windermere with pubs, restaurants and shops right on our doorstep. The property provided towels and the beds were super comfy.
