Location is wonderful...close to shops, restaurants and the cathedral close

Two things stood out. The location is excellent; about as central to Winchester as you can get. The primary standout was the staff. All members of staff that we met we genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, which they did efficiently and without fuss.

Room was an excellent size, bed comfortable complimentary gown. Lovely to have a fridge in the room, nice selection of teas and coffee. Room was surprisingly quiet considering it overlooked the busy side road. Plenty of hot water.

Location is excellent. Room was spacious (we booked a bigger room than the cheapest, and it was very generous in size), with everything we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, toiletries smelt great. Really well lit bathroom. Really good value for Winchester. View from the room was probably the best in town, looking right at the cathedral! Breakfast was a really good buffet, it wasn't included in our room price but it was worth the extra payment, better than anything we could have got in a local cafe.
