Basically everything. Anita and Rob the hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was to die for. Will definitely be going back again next year and maybe more after.

Property was lovely with everything you needed to hand such extra milk for drinks and biscuits. Really good breakfasts with an extensive range of fruit. Proprietors really helpful and friendly plus their lovely dog! Great location for us, as we enjoyed walking up and down the hill into Whitby.

Very warm friendly welcome from Rob and Anita. Such lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt like home from home. We stayed in Sea Biscuit room. Room had everything you needed. The floor fan was very much appreciated in the recent heatwave. Room was nicely presented, spacious and tastefully accessorised. There were plenty of additional supplies for restocking refreshments in your room. The book shelves on the landings had a good selection for all, and the comfy sofa on the landing was a lovely reading spot. The guesthouse is in an excellent location on west cliff and the promenade is only a short distance from the front gate. Breakfast was superb and catered to all individual tastes. You certainly did not leave the breakfast room hungry! I highly recommend Abbotsleigh and will certainly be returning very soon.
