Lovely little cottage, really comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space. Even though it’s compact we didn’t hear each other at night. The aga is awesome for heating the gorgeous kitchen and cooking on. The butchers across the road is great with loads to offer along with the pub just up the road. The walk into Whitby along the pedestrian foot path along the rail tracks is enjoyable, plenty to see and takes a half hour at a slow pace, the train back is also great fun. The bathroom has lots of warm water but not enough loo rolls. You will need to take wash powder and kitchen spray as this is not provided. The parking is easier to find than the website tells you, although it’s a five minute walk away and lots of birds on the trees! Would I stay again, yes but the property’s location is questionable for the price but I suppose that’s how things are nowadays.

Good location lovely walks into Whitby. Property is a good size and well maintained & thoughtful host. Very clean & nice outside garden. Kitchen is lovely social

Great location in a quiet village, superb Butchers shop opposite. Various footpaths for a simple walk into Whitby, also very nice local pub.
