Very cosy and despite experiencing the worst storm of the year. The cottage was well equipped and clean. We took my 89 year old mum so having the downstairs bedroom was fantastic, very hard to find in Whitby.

Kingfisher was almost fully equipped with everything you could need. There was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee when we arrived which was a lovely gesture and help till we went shopping. The property was clean and spacious with a nice secure garden for our dog. Added bonus of a parking space for the cottage. The location is ideal for walking into Whitby. As long as you don't mind the hill, it is a bit steep. But other longer routes are available.

Perfect location. turn left and it’s a 10-15 min walk into town, turn left and we found the most amazing dog walks. Lovely walk either under or over a viaduct. Accommodation was cozy and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very clean accommodation, which was larger than expected. Log burner with wood and kindling was very welcome in January during an amber weather warning. Easy short walk into Whitby under the main road, although it is a steep hill.
