The cottage was very comfortable and the location was perfect. The walk to Whitby on the Cinder Path/ viaduct was beautiful and not too far away. The pool was a nice addition.

This is our 3rd time at Captain Cooks Haven. Already going to look at around the same time next year. Cathy is spot on with everything, welcome gifts information etc. Such a lovely setting & superb for families. Accommodation is everything you would want. I am sure we could find some little fault if we thought hard enough. The 9 am departure is a bit soon but this is out of Cathys control! Welcome pack etc very thoughtful & appreciated.

Beautiful location with lovely views and great for kids. A scenic and easy walk into Whitby. Property was really clean. greatly equipped with everything needed for the stay. Cathy was a great host, friendly and informative and left a welcome pack which was a lovely touch. The play area and pool were brilliant for the kids, along with the peaceful outside space which felt very relaxing.
