We just left the Grove cottage. On the place you will find everything you need, iron with ironing board, dryer, hoover, bucket with mop, kitchen appliances all works perfect, towels, fresh bedding etc. Great quiet location, just on the site of Cinder Track which lead you to the centre of Whitby (1,5 mile) from the front you can see the viaduct and views are beautiful, great for quick walk with dog before breakfast 🙂 most of the places are dog friendly, even the boat trips which is a short but nice experience. Whitby itself worth visiting, everyone will find something for themself from kids attractions on the pier to museums for older ones. Beach is sandy, great for a walk and clean, at least for now. Will definitely back in the future to the 5 Grove Cottage, with bikes as a lot routes still to be discovered 🙂

Lovely, clean, comfortable cottage, in a quiet location. Just a few minutes' drive, or 30 minutes walk from the town centre. Perfect for our family break. Would definitely stay here again.
