We were looking for a place that was not too far to drive from Hamilton that is north of Auckland so we could visit the Bay of Islands for a few days and Mycroft Lodge fits the bill to a T. What we didn't expect was the welcome from Frank and Andrew. The conversations over the table were very informative and entertaining. If we wanted to we could have stayed the whole day to hear their stories!!

Couldn't recommend staying here more. It's immaculate with plenty of space around the property to enjoy! The hosts could not be more kind and inviting. We had car troubles during our stay and they were incredibly helpful! We will definitely be going again!

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Andrew and Francis are excellent hosts and breakfast time was delightful - their property is phenomenal. The lodges are so beautifully done you will have everything you need. Perfect to walk through the grounds too. Wish we had stayed longer xx
