Was exactly as expected We stayed because it is a beautiful historic hotel A little run down now but still can imagine what it was like when the queen stayed The amenities are basic but comfortable and clean Hosts were friendly and informative Parking is a problem though but just need to look around We enjoyed the stay and had a good chat to the bar staff in the evening

I loved the lamb madras curry for tea as it was the best i have ever had!!!!!!!!!! Bar was conveniently close. Smoking are was a bit dark.
