A really quiet, clean, spacious and delightfully decorated hotel in a great location. The carpark across the street is super convenient. There is no dinner restaurant in the hotel but that is not a problem when the town has so many eating options just around the corner. We immersed ourselves in the night-life of the town and arrived back at the hotel after midnight each night. Michael the night porter gave us the best cheerful welcome home each evening, and really made our stay here so memorable. We enjoyed The Mariner so much we extended our stay another day, which was absolutely no problem for the staff and included a really scrumptious breakfast to send us off.
