Wud have preferred a downstairs bedroom as stairs were very narrow and we had to go up 2 of them

Hotel was clean, as was the room in general, which had most of what I needed. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quite complete. Had a car park and it was an easy walk to the town centre

I loved my room under the sloping roof with old-fashioned furniture- the hotel was comfortable and homely. In particular, it offered very reasonable rates for single travelers, which many hotels don’t bother about. Breakfast was very good.
