It’s beautiful home , an idyllic place to stay, relax and recharge. Very comfortable, modern & homely. It has everything you need. The views are stunning . Shaun and Bernadette lovely hosts so welcoming.

The accommodation has the wow factor, as soon as you walk in it immediately feels like home, well equipped and had everything we needed We were invited to explore the outdoor spaces and welcomed to interact with the donkeys, use the yurt and swim in the filtered lake. The utility room with washing machine was a bonus too with space to hang clothes outside and use of a clothes horse. The location was great to explore many other places with relatively quiet roads. It's a good idea to get stocked up with food, lots of big supermarkets around or Wells market on a Wednesday. It is the perfect retreat to get away from it all, has great views and lots of land, varied spaces to sit and relax or to have a nice evening stroll... especially to groom the donkeys or to be entertained by the chatter from the hens. The hosts had the perfect balance of friendliness, helpful and available when needed but also without encroaching on our own space. We had some lovely chats and they are truly inspiring with their vision of a beautifully natural and partly self sufficient approach to living...so refreshing. Although a great base for exploring Somerset, I could easily have used our time there to just relax in the beautiful surroundings. It's quiet, slightly off the beaten track and a real treasure.
