Very good location in town centre within easy walking distance of Wells harbour and shops. Comfortable, 'lived-in' feel to cottage made it feel relaxed. Wood-burner was a welcome extra feature at this time of year.

On arrival issues with heating. The owner sorted us alternative accommodation for 2 nights until fixed and was very helpful and responsive plus offered a discount for the trouble. Great location, small private garden space and parking so good for centre of Wells.

The cottage is close to the seafront in Wells next the sea, an old fishing village and holiday centre beside a river and large area of salt marsh. There is a sandy beach a mile away and there is a delightful walk along a flowery bank to reach it. This is a great place for a quiet break especially for walkers and bird watchers. The seafood here is the best and there are plenty of eateries.
