Martin “Quiet location but well placed for day trips”

The location was within a few short miles of the nearest town with supermarkets for everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Easily within range of the Lakes and the seaside destinations of Morecambe and Blackpool. We also found a local beach at Silverdale. If you needed to stay at home, the deck area was great for relaxing on the furniture provided.

The lodge is in the perfect place for a quiet break away. Lovely lakes and 2 other camps near by one with a restaurant/bar open to the public with a small beer garden. A little drive into the close by nearest towns. Outside seating was a bonus due to lovely weather durning our stay. WiFi in the caravan too. Overall we enjoyed our stay and was worth the money even though we had a few issues/dislikes.
