The Bakehouse is a little gem tucked away in the lovely village of Wangford. The village is picturesque and friendly in the best Suffolk way, and convenient for all the local places one would want to visit. Sheila and John were lovely hosts, and the property itself is a converted outbuilding - small, but absolutely charming with everything one needs to be comfortable during a stay. It's not massive on space, but nevertheless wonderful to stay in, with a very pleasant garden and outdoor space, the bells of the church drifting gently over and birdsong everywhere. Plus, Bear the friendly white shaggy dog lives next door and always wants to make friends. All that and a lovely, friendly pub (with great food) only a few doors down...
