LOCAL TAX LAWBased on local tax laws, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chile) must pay an additional fee of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chile. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. The size of my room was amazing - the view from the room was incredible. The bed was huge and very comfortable. I loved the decor of the inside of the hotel. The central location is great, and the fact the hotel is right on the shore is brilliant. I loved hearing the waves from my room and loved looking at the view - I had pelicans and inca terns right outside my window! Breakfast was very nice - the restaurant is beautiful and also has incredible views.

This a weirdly funky hotel decorated like a ship, ships cabins, figureheads, neutral memorabilia, it's grandeur is a little faded, it's heyday according to all the pucs was in the 30s. I absolutely LOVED the place, 100% I would stay here again Staff were brilliant, location was spectacular, the sounds of waves was perfect to go to sleep by each night

We had an amazing double fronted room looking out over the sea complete with a balcony frequented by 20 Pelicans . The hotel although quirky did have a certain charm and the staff were lovely
