There was an air conditioner that worked and you could add heat or cold if necessary. The location was very convenient for us.

Spacious, lots of light, clean, renovated apartment in quiet area, a few minutes from the bus station and right by the boulevard, shops and restaurants. It is well run, good communication. Large towels .self check in. Not a unit for tall people - upstairs where the bedroom is and, especially the shower, the ceiling is very low, and you actually bump your head. The mattress is too small for the bed, and the frame is dangerous for the shiins. The matress is comfortable though

Firstly, if you are going to the Douro Valley, stop in Vila Real. You’ll never regret it because of its outstanding view from the apartment and the sunset you can meet from its balcony. Secondly, it was the fastest communication with the owner. We sent a small review in the morning (we didn’t find a hairdryer), and in 15 minutes, we got what we asked. And thirdly - The apartment is very comfortable, beds, sofa, kitchen, everything is equipped.
