Based on the incredible pictures and unanimously positive reviews, we came to Quinta de Palhota with high expectations. They were all exceeded exponentially! The house is remarkably beautiful, inside and out. The views are the of the best in the area. The location is perfect - quite, immersed in nature, with quick and easy access to town and numerous points of interest. The garden is spacious and beautiful. And most importantly - James is an incredible host. Kind, patient and extremely helpful. We felt at home the moment we got here. James provided us with great recommendations, tips, and help when needed. Besides, he makes delicious olive oil and great wine! We will come back again - no doubt!!

Everything. Highly underrated area, absolutely beautiful with lots to explore and a very informative host. House was amazing, truely. Large, beautiful, well equipped, and amazing backyard. All in all, exceeded expectations.
