Palazzo Suriano is an ancient noble residence overlooking the sea, which has maintained the charm and tranquility of another era, with gramophones and a crystal radio that broadcast music of times gone by from an ancient library. Bougainvillea and lemon groves immersed in a private terraced garden, sea-view for the breakfast, the sound of seagulls and lapping of the sea, the attentive and discreet service make the experience unique. Palazzo Suriano is further away from the crowded places, it is recommended to rent a scooter to visit them from there (the hotel put us in touch with a local rental service), and it is the best way to fully experience the Amalfi Coast.

We loved how incredibly welcoming the staff were, to the point where they whatsapped me two days prior to help assist getting to the hotel (came and picked us up from the train station and told us which train station to go to) The breakfast, was fresh, homemade, local and delicious. The view from the balcony whilst enjoying our breakfast was INCREDIBLE. The staff during breakfast are extremely friendly, and offer coffee/tea. They also ask you what you have planned and give you suggestions on what to do and where to go for it. The train station is very handy, we got the local train to pompeii, 30 minutes away, one train straight to pompeii, and one train back. Perfect location to explore anywhere in that region. Our room was cleaned daily and was always left at a beyond satisfactory level. Our room was very large, with ample storage for clothing. The location was perfect. A short walk down the hill to the beach/restaurants. All in all, a perfect location/restaurant for a couple. 100% recommend.

The hotel is beautiful with a gorgeous library and the gardens have so many spots to sit and relax. The staff are wonderful and so helpful, and the homemade food for breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is amazing.
