From the moment we arrived at Novecento Country House, we felt transported into a hidden oasis of calm. The drive up is already magical – surrounded by lush nature, with the distinctive sound of cicadas during the day, gently giving way to the chirping of crickets after sunset. But what truly makes this place exceptional is Marco’s remarkable hospitality. You can feel his passion for this historic house in every detail. The way he shares its rich and fascinating history is captivating, and I honestly can’t wait for the book he’s writing to be published. It’s equally inspiring to hear about his future plans – from the nearly completed swimming pool to the idea of a cooking studio inspired by the film “Nonnas.” Adding to the charm is Marco’s own organic olive oil, produced in small batches without any pesticides or fertilizers. It’s not only a testament to his respect for nature but also absolutely delicious. The house itself is stunning: it feels like an elegant American country mansion, yet it’s nestled in the tranquil, wooded landscape of Puglia. Inside, you’ll find every modern comfort, including an excellent Starlink satellite internet connection that kept us perfectly connected when needed. A special mention goes to Marco’s two lovely dogs – especially sweet Loki (I hope I’ve spelled his name right!). He would occasionally visit us on the terrace, eager to both give and receive some extra affection, making us feel even more at home. This house has clearly captured the hearts of Marco and his family – and it’s easy to see why. Staying here was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Our stay at Novecento’s was perfect. There was not a single day we did not enjoy. It was one of the few times where the photos you see online are true reflection of what the property looks like. We really liked our apartment, which was equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. We loved the interior and its vintage feel, and even more the outside area, which was perfect also for our children. Our daughter spent so much time outside playing with the animals, it was a great break from our city life. Above all, Marco was the perfect host. Always available to share tips and recommendations to make our holidays even more special. He would go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. I could go on and on with the list of things we enjoyed about our stay, but the above was definitely the highlight.

Amazing country house in a tranquil setting. Large beautiful room and private area outside. The host Marco was very welcoming and provided us with great beach and restaurant tips. Marco speaks perfect english and helped us with everything. Beautiful olive garden sourounding the house. Highly recommended!
