The place was just what I expected - certainly functional rather than glamorous, but it was clean, well maintained, the neighbourhood felt safe, and it's convenient for the Austria Center. Sadly I didn't get the try the pool. When I arrived the chap who greeted me was very friendly: the room was still being cleaned but they were happy for me to drop off my suitcase in it, which was very helpful. There's a bakery just down the road, and it's quite a nice (though long) walk into the centre of Vienna.

Spotlessly clean and very quiet and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen with excellent coffee machine and big fridge freezer. I chose an apparthotel as attending a conference and fed up with hotels not providing early breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays. Location was ideal for Messe Wien, with frequent bus to U2, even on Sundays.
