The location is perfect for anyone who wishes an early start to walk the "Passadiços do Mondego" (https://passadicosdomondego.net/fotos/); also Videmonte is a small village full of charming houses, with many being renovated; there is a couple who produces really good bread in the old fashion and also has delicious honey and herb teas; there is also a cheese artisan cheese maker; there are sheep and goats and a shepherd that still takes them in and out of the village; many fresh and ready to be used water fountains, beautiful nature and silence all around

The house was nice overall, with a cozy fireplace that had enough wood for the whole stay, and the bedding was very comfortable. A big plus was that they accept pets, so we could bring our dog, which we really appreciated.
