I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this guesthouse! It’s run by Marianne, a lovely older lady, and her son Jimmy – and from the very first day, I felt completely at home, almost like part of the family. The apartment was spotless and had everything I needed. The kitchen was perfectly equipped, and free drinking water was provided throughout the stay – a small detail that makes a big difference! Marianne and Jimmy were incredibly kind and helpful. They answered all my questions patiently and gave me great tips for exploring the island. Jimmy also offers a full-day tour of Mahé at a great price – I highly recommend it! The location is excellent, with a bus stop just across the street that takes you straight to Victoria. If I ever return to Mahé, I would absolutely stay here again without a second thought. A truly warm and welcoming place – highly recommended!

The location is beautiful. Stunning scenery from the windows of birds and fruit bats. A sky full of stars at night. Nice sized room. There is 1 double, 1 single bed. An excellent shower from which you can watch the bats! . Kitchen has good facilities for simple cooking, fridge. The family kindly installed a water dispenser whilst I was there. The family are extremely friendly and welcoming. The bus stop is close by but you must purchase a bus card from the bus station to use it. My suggestion would be for the family to sell these cards to tourists to avoid the journey to the bus station. The buses go all around the island. Jimmy's island tour was a brilliant, unforgettable day out. Value for money and Jimmy is great fun! You cover almost the entire island, with snorkeling, waterfall, national park (small admission). Also rum distillery and craft centre for those who enjoy shopping. I particularly liked exploring Victoria's local market and the beaches. We purchased delicious, cheap local food and ate it next to the ocean. Highly recommended.
