The cottage was incredibly cozy and comfortable. It perfectly combined rich history with all the modern amenities you could need. The location right on the beach was perfect. The owners John and Sue were so friendly, attentive and incredibly welcoming! We loved our stay there!

The historic cottage at Yelki by the Sea was a true delight for us. To stay in a landmark building steeped in history made the stay special. The views across Encounter Bay were wonderful. The cottage is very original with a large fireplace and low doorways typical of homes built in the 1830’s, but it also has the convenience of a modern bathroom and very well-equiped kitchen. The cottage is attached to the main house and offers complete privacy, but the owners John and Sue, who live in the main house are the true treasure of Yelki by the Sea. Their warmth and generosity made our stay at Yelki by the Sea one of the best travel experiences we have ever had.

Stunning period cottage, fabulous hosts! Lots of thoughtful amenities provided - bathrobes, wine and chocolate. Beautiful location close to everything!
