The property owner / host has thought of everything even down to providing dig bowls! The whole house was well appointed, bed comfort was excellent and the bath towels were the fluffiest towels I have ever used! The house had a lovely secure garden (with sea views) which my small dog loved exploring. The host left a bottle of wine, water, coffee pods, tea bags and biscuits which was a lovely gesture. She also left us with a bag of pellets for the pellet burner which came in very useful on the cold evenings! One of the best things about this property was the secure private parking in the gated yard immediately next to the property - a huge bonus in Viana do Castelo. I am very fit and active and for me, the property was an easy walk into the centre of Viana (it took me 12 minutes down the hill to the centre of Viana and 18 minutes back up the hill to the property) but I would imagine some people could find the hills hard work.
