The host was very thoughtful and receptive. She sent a video guide to assist with finding the property and showing us how to access the key box. We had an issue with the induction hob which was resolved by fitting a new hob the next day. The property was very bijou and very reasonably priced and had everything that we needed It was perfectly situated in the very heart of the city close to local amenities, 1 minute from the central square which was home to lots of local shops and restaurants and a wonderful Fado Bar. The bus and railway terminals were a short walk away and the historical city centre itself was a pretty maze of historical alleyways and boulevards. We loved it.

The flat is very cozy and nice, equipped well for a longer stay, and located right in the middle of the historical part of the city. It was truly a great base for our explorations of the neighborhood.

This apartment is in a perfect location to visit Viana do Castelo. It’s a short walk to the train station (>10 mins), on a small quiet side street adjacent to the cathedral. Also a short walk to a large supermarket and the Elevador de Santa Luzia which brings you up to the beautiful basilica in minutes. We had no issues with the apartment and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have their own space whilst visiting Viana do Castelo. The bathroom is small as is the shower but it did not bother us at all

Good position in the centre of the old town. a 15 minute walk to train and bus stations.
