The fine print
Please note that the property is closed every night from 00:30 until 07:00, therefore it is not possible to enter the premises or to check-in after 00:00. There are no exceptions for this rule, not even for the Mostra del Cinema, since we do not offer the night receptionist service. Please make a reservation with awareness. Early check-out before 07.00 is possible upon prior agreement.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location was fab, the staff were friendly, the roof terrace is nice and the kitchen is well equipped. You honestly get what you pay for! Good spot in the heart of Venice that was perfect for a solo female traveller. Huge bonus that I never had to queue for the toilet/shower! There were 3 in my corridor.

Ostello Domus Civica is a lovely hotel in the heart of Venice. It is 5 minutes away by walk from the main bus terminal (you can get buses too and from the airport from here), and about a 7 minute walk from the main train station. The rooms were nice, with AC. There were 3 bathrooms per floor (2 with showers), but we never had trouble finding one that was a available. The hotel has a lounge, tv room with a tv and board games, a kitchen + dining area, and a terrace on the 4th floor with views over Venice. The hotel has a policy of shutting its doors between 00:30 and 07:00, however they made an exception for us when our flight got delayed. The staff are wonderful, and very kind and helpful.

Lovely hostel in the centre of Venice, clean amenities and friendly staff. Coming back before 00:30 is a small price to pay for a lovely accommodation. Would recommend to stay

They are very nice I felt sp safe there and the location is so great. They even let me store my bag so I am very thankful.
