We were satisfied with the accommodation. We found everything we needed. The supermarket is very close and the center is a few minutes' walk away

The property was very spacious and in a quiet community. It was lovely to have air conditioning as we arrived on a very hot week and coming back to a cool apartment after a long day on our feet was so nice. We were just around the corner from the supermarket and there are local shops, bars and restaurants only a short walk away and cheaper than eating out in the centre. The Alvise water bus stop is about a five minute walk away with connections to Piazzale Roma and the Northern Island of Murano (very regular). You can walk from the apartment all the way down to St Mark’s Square in around 40 minutes or hop on the water bus and connect with the No 1 water bus at Piazzale Roma which takes you down the Grand Canal (highly recommend a 2/3 day bus ticket which you can get from tourist information by the station - 29 and under will get this under half price). The beds in the apartment were very comfortable and the main bedroom has a shutter to block out the light if you fancied an afternoon siesta. We loved having a separate kitchen for breakfast. The kitchen had everything you should need for your holiday.
