Nice, very clean flat in heart of San Mateo, everything needed one short walk away. Perfect basis location for hiking trips.

position was excellent, being near shops and bus station. Felt I was in a traditional Spanish home, which was lovely to experience. Host was very welcoming and helpful. San Mateo is a lovely little town and this accommodation is right at it's heart. There is a regular bus service down to Las Palmas and up to Tejeda making it ideal for exploring.

The house is very well equipped and the owner is absolutely wonderful and available for any questions or needs that might come up. The town is cute and mainly a great location the mountains in the center of the island.

Elegant and comfortable in nice surroundings. Lovely welcome from host with lots of useful info. Some welcome treats for us in kitchen along with range of toiletries etc
