Lola was so kind and attentive for us, we never felt as though we went without anything or couldn’t ask. She went above and beyond to make us feel extremely welcome. The guest house was so cute and staying there felt like we got a true authentic experience. The breakfast was amazing and everything was grown straight from the garden. Highly recommend this stay!

Lola is a wonderful host – very warm, helpful, and always approachable. You can immediately feel that she truly cares about the well-being of her guests. The food was fantastic: authentic, fresh, and plentiful! Many ingredients come straight from her own garden or local producers. Both breakfast and dinner were a real treat every time. The guesthouse is ideally located – perfect as a starting or ending point for a hike. If you want to experience genuine Albanian hospitality surrounded by stunning nature, this is the place to be.

The guesthouse was really cute. Lola was very accommodating when we needed to make last minute changes. She makes really good food including amazing vegan food made with home grown ingredients. The location is fairly close to the Valbona Theth trail head.

Lola is the best host. The rooms are great and well equipped. A lovely quite small guesthouse, the perfect base in Valbone. The breakfast is abundant and delicious, the dinner even more so. I am vegan and was treated to some amazing traditional food, including vegan byreke, stuffed peppers, salads and so much more. Much of the food is grown by Lola’s family or made locally. Lola even packed us breakfast and provided coffee on the days we went hiking very early. 100% recommend. She was the most welcoming person ever, and she gave us a lot of information about the treks. This was our favourite accommodation in our entire Albania trip.
