Valbona is a very nice place, a quiet and beautiful valley. We really enjoyed our stay at the HYSA guesthouse, sitting in the garden, savouring the good food, playing in the nearby river and preparing for the hike to Theeth.

It’s a midway point for the town coming from Theth hike. It’s a long walk but everything is… once your off the track and pass that last restaurant on the hill it’s still another 6kms but you got to do what you got to do. Really chill check in, breakfast was average, few nice restaurants around!

Fantastic host - he couldn't do enough for us and was always rushing around helping all the guests, going out of his way to suit everyone's needs. Incredible view of the mountains from our room and from the garden - definitely was a pinch me moment. We had breakfasts and packed lunches made, which were great for the Valbone to Theth hike and a hike up Mount Rosni. The host also gave us suggestions of hikes and our minibus dropped us right outside on arrival. It's also 5 minutes from the stream/river where you can have a refreshing dip after a day of hiking. Highly recommend - thanks for having us!
