Everything was okay. Breakfast was fine, medialunas and cereals. Coffee was good. Location is great and staff was nice.

Located right in the center of town, this must have been a very nice, premium hotel about 30 years ago. It has not been maintained ever since. Now all the furniture is super old. Piping and electricals are barely functioning. However, the staff are amazing at getting the most of what is left. The rooms are still cleaned well every day, linen smells fresh and the breakfast is tasty. We found our stay surprisingly comfortable despite a dubious first impression. Pricing reflects the state of the hotel pretty well. If you don't mind a creaky mattress and the odd leaky pipe, you can get yourself a bargain.

The price was reasonable. The hotel is in the city centre, a few minutes walk from the restaurant and shops. I was staying as I was boarding an Antarctica cruise, so the location of the luggage storage was a few blocks away, same with coach pickup for the cruise
