Very beautiful accommodation and surroundings. Swimming pool is great - we are both swimmers and the clever design meant we could do our laps. Gardens are lush and well maintained. Private beach is amazing and very peaceful.

Wow! I am actually lost for superlatives for this villa. We initially chose it for the location, near to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle. This place is breathtaking. The rooms are like an art gallery, the outside spaces so peaceful and beautiful. Breakfast made fresh and to order every day. The most polite and helpful staff members. Honestly, this place is a dream and will be the biggest reason for us returning to Unawatuna in the future. Faultless!!

Monkeys leap playfully between the trees, colorful koi swim lazily in the pond alongside gentle turtles, and the entire atmosphere is one of balance and serenity. The pool is simply perfect – crystal clear and surrounded by greenery that gives you the feeling of being deep in nature, yet with all the comfort of a boutique retreat. The rooms are beautifully decorated, combining elegance with tradition, and offer total privacy and comfort. Breakfast and meals at the restaurant are a delight – fresh, flavorful, and served in a tranquil setting that makes you want to linger just a little longer each time. The staff are kind, discreet, and attentive, always ready to help with a genuine smile. Sergeant House isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to breathe deeply, to slow down, and to feel genuinely at home in the most beautiful way. Whatever I write feels too little – this place is an experience in itself. Beautiful decor and an amazing collection of treasures from adventures around the world. We celebrated our son’s birthday and all the staff went out of their way to give us a memorable time. We had the most tasty cake and festive decorations to make the day special. Thank you for that experience 🙏
