The views from the glamping pods were breathtaking. We spent so much time in the hot tub admiring the view. The cleanliness was perfect. The hosts were very nice. There were highland cattle on the site which you could feed treats. The pod was cosy. We were given complimentary whiskey to try. It was an overall fantastic experience. We will certainly be back.

Everything about the highland Bothies was amazing we have never been to such a quiet tranquil Location , yet easy reach for everything you need

The Highland Bothies accommodation was one of the most exceptionally clean we have ever stayed in. The location was one of the most beautiful we have ever seen too, with a stunning view overlooking Loch Broom and the town of Ullapool, surrounded by the vast mountains which were mesmerising. The bed was lovely and cosy, the living area was very comfortable and everything we needed was there for us. The Hot Tub was fantastic for relaxing and observing the view and the outdoor fire kept us warm in the evening. It is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. We visited Achmelvich Beach which was fantastic followed by a stop at Ardvreck Castle which had stunning views from the hilltop just next to the ruin. The drive from The Bothies had some breathtaking scenery on the way to these destinations. We also got ambitious during our stay and went to Durness which had some amazing beaches and great mountainous views. We did all this while based at The Highland Bothies which made an ideal accommodation location for traveling around to other places. Ullapool was lovely, we enjoyed the waterfront and having a relaxing drink in The Ferry Boat Inn. The Highland Bothies is highly recommended, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Fabulous.
