My experience in this place was amazing! The person running the hostel is very kind and helpful. I got a big hut just for myself made with organic materials, at a very low price (800LKR) and with everything and more than I needed: mosquito net, fan, and outdoor tables to sit and write or eat. I fell in love with the open-sky bathroom surrounded by plants. The best views for a shower! They also serve food, the food is delicious, very reasonably priced (1200LKR), and served in generous portions. Definitely some of the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. I ate in another larger cabin with views of the jungle. They also refilled my water bottle with filtered water. The area is beautiful, in the middle of the forest, near the lake and the elephant orphanage. The morning of my check out, the women was so generous that she didn't want me to pay the dinner and neither the breakfast. This place has few reviews because it was closed for 2 years and now is open again! Overall, this place exceeded all my expectations. I really recommend it!

Amazing hosts, so friendly and kind. Room was great value and location. They are even building a treehouse room so the place will be even better in the future. Do yourself a favour and eat dinner there as well, one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Was super easy to organise the Safari which was also a fantastic experience. Lots of beautiful puppies too which made it hard to leave

Everything was really good, the price is completely affordable, the place is quiet and calm, you hear the birds the hole day and you are in the middle of the trees and palm trees. The owner was so helpful and nice, she gave me everything I needed and also she mades me 1l of infusion every morning because I asked for. She is just amazing. I will for sure come back If I go back to Sri Lanka. Thank you so much.
