This fairly new hotel is a gem in Turku. They've kept features of the former prison in a charming way that adds character to your stay. Nice room, very clean, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, enough pillows. The breakfast buffet had lots of options and was nice. The hotel guests also get discounts at the nearby Kakola Spa (in a separate building). The Spa was another highlight of our visit in Turku. I would warmly recommend both the hotel and the spa.

Located within easy walking distance of the town centre. An interesting and beautifully executed rennovation of an old prison. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuite contained everything to comfortably enjoy a hot shower. The breakfast was delicious with a great choice of food and the staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly.
