Super close to Tongariro and more affordable than crazier prices you see around the area. Owners were very helpful and lots of information about the hike available there too. Cat was friendly. Beds are comfy and plenty of blankets to keep you warm in the winter.

Really lovely lodge, Sandra was a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome! The communal spaces were all clean and well equipped, and the 4-bed dorm was really comfortable - thank you for a lovely stay!

The host was lovely! She gave me a warm welcome and tips for the tongariro crossing. There is free parking and it was a nice place to stay before the tongariro crossing (half hour driving).
