The place was absolutely lovely. The interior was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space. The host kept in touch well and the service was great. The apartment was easy to get to and the city services were close by.

The picture is from the 2nd floor, we were in the 1st floor. Still had a lovely view, the flat (3bedrooms) had a wonderful cozy livingroom and a large dining kitchen with everything we needed, even some spices, sugar, washing utensils etc. Had there been polar lights we could have watched them even from inside ( interesting when -20 degrees). Beds were comfortabke, enough cushions and beddings.

We stayed for 4 nights with my family and enjoyed our stay to the maximum. Apartment is spacious, with beautiful views over the city and water. This also means the property is located on a hill (otherwise you wouldn't get any views) so be prepared for that. Nothing crazy, it's a short walking distance from the city center (7 mins) and a very nice walk through snow covered Tromso. It can get a bit slippery with snow and ice, again you should be prepared for that when coming to the Arctic ;) We didn't buy spikes for our shoes and were fine without them. Well equipped kitchen, cozy living room and comfortable beds. Check in and check out was super easy, we received a code for our door and that was it. Ingrid (the host) was super nice and helpful. When the sink in the bathroom got stuck, she managed to remedy it in a few hours.
